Tonight: Destine with Her Bright Skies and You Ate My Dog as support.
Destine is a dutch band, and they're alright. Nothing special though, don't even really like them.
But I've loved Her Bright Skies for a while, and once again going for the nostalgia of the good old days

I need to store all my music somewhere so I don't have to steal it all again if I ever have to switch computers.
I have about 22 GB of Music in my Itunes library right now, what should I get to store it?

I found that a 1tb disk is a good investment. You buy one, and just keep putting stuff on it for years.
But they are kind of costly

Things I got for christmas:

We don't have the money for it anymore, haha. I wish I got my 7'' in in time, but it's been delayed for two weeks. So much for giving myself a christmas present

It's christmas eve here too.
I've got the entire house for myself (not enough money to go on holiday with my family), so I'm eating hot dogs as my christmas dinner haha.
And after that a movie and then hanging out with people (though no drinking cause I have to get up early and be active tomorrow).

So, any of you getting any christmas presents?

You could buy a portable external USB hard drive. if it was a desktop you could get a second internal hard drive.
I got one of these!! FUCK YEAH!!! WOOO I'M GONNA GO STEAL A BUNCH OF THINGS NOW
Don't forget to format it before use. In case you forgot, it's probably not that bad. It's just that the companies always say FORMAT BEFORE USE.

And I'm also wondering how big. Mine is 1tb just like Matt's and I use about 10% of it for my current music collection (about 80gb). But then again, I haven't been able to do anything for weeks since both my mobo and cpu are broken.

Oh and a tip for getting a huge music library: keep it all in one spot. And I mean ALL. Saves you a lot of trouble if you ever need to backup something

He's probably not thinking about you guys a lot nowadays. He's not the kind of person do that, I think.

I still talk to him sometimes.

But more importantly, I think of you guys every day <3 [/lie]

I've been to a few in my life. The bands were shit two out of the three times though xD
But yeah, it's an awesome party. Until someone calls the cops

What's a house show, if I may ask? You mean, a show in a house?

I went to Boys Like Girls last friday (with two lame support acts). They were awesome.
BLG isn't really my music anymore, and it never really was. But I loved their first album years ago, so I went for the nostalgia and for the company. It was better than I expected

And last saturday I went to see two dutch bands, which I won free tickets for in a concert. It was My Favorite Scar with SeriouS as their support. Again, not really my kind of music (hardrock / post-grunge kinda stuff) but they were pretty nice. Especially SeriouS blew me away (it was their second show ever) and I was disappointed that SeriouS had no merch whatsoever.

Anywho, tomorrow I'm going to buy my ticket for Destine and Her Bright Skies for december 28th. Don't really like Destine (I think I dislike 'm, actually) but Her Bright Skies is pretty cool and my best friend wanted to go but she's not allowed to go alone.

I'm also going to buy a ticket for The Blackout this January. These guys are just awesome. Will be the third time I'll be seeing them.

But, to me, the most important one is the ticket I'm gonna buy this saturday.
Rise Against is coming to my country on Sunday the 13th of March. I know you guys don't really care much for this band, but these guys are my favorite band and I'm already stoked to see them again! This band got me into punk rock, and indirectly also got me into hardcore punk.

Oh, and in two weeks I'll buy my ticket for Groezrock 2011. Groezrock is an annual hardcore/punk/shit festival held in Belgium (in case you don't know, my neighboring country to the south).

List of bands attending:
Asking Alexandria
August Burns Red
Brotherhood Foundation
Comeback Kid
Dashboard Confessional (acoustic)
Dead To Me
Every Time I Die
Further Seems Forever
Gray Area
Hoods
Millencollin (playing Pennybridge Pioneers)
Miss May I
No Friends
NOFX
Piebald
Shai Hulud
Teenage Bottlerocket
We Came As Romans
Boy Sets Fire
Danko Jones
Madball
Rufio
Streetlight Manifesto
Morning Again
Whitechapel
The Ghost Inside
No Trigger
Of Mice & Men
Chelsea Grin
Grave Maker
Kvelertack
Social Suicide
Hoods
The Acacia Strain
Miss May I
Impending Doom
REALLY looking forward to see both No Trigger and The Descendants.

So I guess that's it for now. Too bad the shows are all so far apart

I see RA more of a starter punk band than SA, but then again everyone has their different opinion on how punk RA is.
But just like Matt, I am a SA fan and have some awesome SA fans.

If you wanna talk bands with shitty fans, take a look at Rise Against. Seriously, most of the 'fans' they got the past few years are straightout annoying.

Not all people who listen to Anti-Flag, Bad Religion and NOFX are shitty (though I think that last band is, I just can't stand Fat Mike). I know a few SA fans who also love Bad Religion and NOFX, and can enjoy an Anti-Flag show

Wouldn't it be better to buy an external usb drive? I have one of 1tb, you could use that for your music. Perhaps even connect it to your local network instead of a pc, so you can access it from every pc you have.
But, seeing you are indeed Floyd, I'm probably just stating ideas you've already thought off yourself xD
And why does it seem that most people who own a mac are 'computer imbeciles'? Is a PC too high maintenance for them?
