we have a new address, at least partially
The site can now be accessed from either http://floydswebsite.no-ip.org or http://chorusofone.no-ip.org but accessing the forum on chorus of one will automatically redirect you to Floyd's website. it's the same website, for now it just has two addresses. At this minute, you can also access it from http://151.213.228.120 as well.
Floyd's Website is now at version 3.51
Basically because I added a Chat Room and a Computer Stuff section and have made a lot of changes since I declared it was 3.11. "But wait, 3.51 does not come after 3.11" No, it does not. For the time being, I am going by Windows 3x version numbers. When I have made big significant changes, it will be Floyd's Website Warp 4, or maybe Floyd's Website 95.

Indeed. You can find it here or just click "Chat" in the top links. I will be in the chat until I go to bed tonight.

The website will be going offline for a few days
At about 11:00 tonight, for the purposes of an assignment at school, I'm posting a link to this website in it and I don't really want the school seeing what is here. I will activate the "Emergency Backup Website" so as far as the school and or teacher will think the site will just be offline because of some problem. I will put the website back online after I have received a grade for the assignment.

an update on yesterday's entry.
I have actually managed to find an older version of the No-IP DUC for OS/2. It doesn't have the nice GUI of it's windows counterpart but it works great, I've been using it all day. My whole website and all of it's related programs are now completely self-contained on a single hard drive on a single computer. I will not be posting this entry on the forum either.

Another slow news week.
As you know this website's address is from a No-IP free account. There is a program called the No-IP Dynamic Update Client (DUC) that updates my home IP address with the No-IP database that redirects you here when you type in floydswebsite.no-ip.org. The No-IP DUC will not run on OS/2 so I have to leave a Windows XP computer running all the time just to update my IP address. That computer has not been turned off for a long time, so I will turn it off and leave the IP updating to my Windows NT 3.51 computer for a few days or weeks. The No-IP DUC doesn't officially work on this operating system but it seems to work just fine.
I Just thought I would let you know, and I won't be posting this on the forum.

It has been a slow news week...
So here is a story completely unrelated to Strike Anywhere or this website. The Syfy Channel has released the first trailer for the second half of Stargate Universe’s first season!
Is it just me or did I see Daniel Jackson for a second there?
Here is an article about it on Gateworld.net:

Maybe next week we will have some interesting news stories that are actually relevant.
